Niamh Hegarty is an Irish painter and printmaker. Graduating from the National College of Art and Design with a BA in Fine Art Printmaking and Visual culture, Niamh was longlisted for the NCAD Staff Prize, 2021.
Recent exhibitions include 'Páipéar' with Hang Tough Contemporary Gallery and ‘As Real as a JPEG’ at the National College of Art and Design. This body of work draws attention to our dependence on technology, a symbol of hope and connection, but also a reminder of distance and the anxious time we live in. Niamh is a recent recipient of the Black Church Studio Graduate Award.
